How do we help
Psychotherapy is an evidence-based part of the treatment . We help overcome the negative thought process and relieve depressed moods while helping you think more positively. We provide Behavioural therapies that focus on developing positive behaviour patterns and even therapies that help you recognize the value of relationships.Alternatively, approaches such as practicing meditation, mindfulness, using psychiatric nutrition can work wonders to ward off depressive symptoms.
Most women suffering from depression are reluctant to seek necessary treatment owing to the fear of stigma that follows mentally ill patients. We, understand this and therefore encourage those suffering from depression to come forward and share their experiences for timely diagnosis and subsequent treatment. Our team pays special attention to the patient who complains of isolation as depression tends to isolate the patient. We also guide the family care givers on how to manage the behavioral disturbances of their loved ones as well as help them take care of their own emotional disturbances or thoughts if there are any signs of them. We try and motivate our patients to take self-care steps, getting adequate sleep, and staying physically active.
